I found the absence of basic tea and coffee facilities in the room to be a letdown, especially after an exhausting day. A few late-night disturbances from nearby revelers made getting quality sleep a bit tricky, and while the breakfast was decent, I wished for more warm options to fuel my ski outings. The absence of extra amenities like a fridge felt off considering the overall comfort expected from a stay here. There were issues with water pressure in the shower at times, annoying when I just wanted to cool down after skiing.

This was my second visit to val-d'isere, and i was actually surprised by how much more the kandahar exceeded my expectations. The spacious double room was perfect, with a luxurious bathroom and ample storage for our ski gear. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh pastries and a great selection of options.

Central location offers easy access to ski schools, restaurants, and shops. The family room layout features a king bed for parents and a separate bunk bed area for kids, awesome for both comfort and privacy.
Although amenities were functional, I found the room quite basic without any complimentary tea or coffee facilities, which would have been a nice touch. A significant noise disturbance from late-night revelers outside impacted sleep quality at times, so light sleepers should be cautious. The bathroom, while clean, could use a refresh, and the absence of luxurious toiletries left me wanting a bit more pampering after a long day on the slopes.

The ski storage had heated lockers, and the communal areas were stylish. The room was spacious, and I loved the separate bunk beds for kids. A good surprise was the sauna and steam room on the top floor, perfect after a day on the slopes.

The separate toilet and double sink were practical, while the convenience of a kids' playroom nearby allowed for easy monitoring of our son. The buffet breakfast offered a good range of choices, including notable Iberian products. Street noise from nearby bars was somewhat disruptive at night, and we faced challenges with the lack of fridge facilities in the room for medication storage.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Val d'Isère, making it easy to walk everywhere, including the slopes. The rooms are clean, warm, and provide all the necessary amenities, including a travel cot for our 6-month-old. The staff is extremely polite and friendly, always ready to meet our needs with a smile. The breakfast served at the hotel is delicious and offers a good variety of options.
All was more than satisfactory.

The hotel is conveniently located near the ski lifts and the bustling center of the town. The rustic alpine decor gives the hotel a cozy and romantic atmosphere, perfect for a couples' retreat. The continental breakfast was satisfying and helped us start our day with a full stomach.
The room lacked certain amenities such as bathrobes and slippers that we would have expected for the price. The street noise was a bit disruptive to our sleep, but closing the shutters helped somewhat.
